Internship Opportunity at Roads and Highways Department for 2026
The Government of Bangladesh, through the Roads and Highways Department, has announced an internship opportunity for the fiscal year 2026-2027. A total of five interns will be selected for a six-month period according to the internship policy established in 2023. Interested applicants must submit their applications by October 10, 2026.
In line with the requirements, applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens who have completed or are awaiting results for their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Candidates are required to apply within two years of obtaining their degree and may only undertake the internship once under the policy provisions. Applicants currently engaged in other employment must provide a no-objection certificate from their employer.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of BDT 10,000, with no other benefits provided during the internship period. The internship will be conducted under the supervision of an assigned departmental supervisor, and satisfactory progress verification is required monthly. Successful completion of the internship will be rewarded with a certificate; however, this certificate does not guarantee job placement in any government or affiliated organization.
Applications should be sent directly or via post to the Executive Engineer, Administration and Establishment of the Roads and Highways Department at the specified address, together with necessary documents, including academic qualifications and identification. All applications submitted after the deadline will be considered invalid.
