**Bangladesh Coast Guard Recruitment Plan to Add 4,610 New Posts**

The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has announced a restructuring plan for the Bangladesh Coast Guard that includes the creation of 4,610 additional posts, bringing the total personnel to 10,000. This decision was made in order to enhance the operational capabilities of the force. A meeting to discuss this revised organizational structure will be held on September 28, 2026, at 2:30 PM in the Ministry of Home Affairs’ conference room.

The meeting, which will be chaired by the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, aims to approve the proposed new positions and to ensure effective management of the Bangladesh Coast Guard’s responsibilities. All relevant parties are instructed to attend the meeting as scheduled.
