Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board Announces Recruitment for Assistant Accountants

The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) has announced the recruitment of Assistant Accountants/Assistant Plant Accountants from the waiting panel. This decision, communicated through a memo dated September 15, 2026, requires the concerned rural electricity companies to prepare for the appointment of selected candidates.

The recruitment process will involve specific formalities as outlined by the Board. Candidates must obtain their biodata and relevant documents from the Human Resources Department of BREB. Subsequently, the Senior General Manager/General Manager of the appointed rural electricity company must send the appointment letters to the candidates’ current and permanent addresses through registered mail or courier service, where applicable. A copy of the appointment letter should also be sent to the Human Resources Department via email at [email protected]. Candidates should be informed of the appointment letter dispatch via mobile phone.

All recruitment and joining processes must be completed by October 5, 2026. In case any candidate does not join, the Human Resources Department must be notified by October 6, 2026. The memo was issued with the approval of the Chairman of BREB, Mohammad Moinul Hasan.
